NekoPara Extra is a short VN prequel to NekoPara 1. It was written as bonus content and published in 2018. It features all the catgirls much younger than in the regular volumes. You see Chocola, Vanilla, and Coconut as kittens. Maple, Cinnamon, and Azuki are already grown, but still cute.
This VN has the same story as the OVA of the same name, but many more scenes, making it last a full hour and a half. One scene is bringing all the catgirls to the beach off season for the first time.
The VN also ends with a Christmas feast. It actually made me a little excited for Christmas this year, in real life. Reading this cozy VN really put my mind at ease. I love this series.
