I've been playing HKIA since it's PC launch in March, and I'm still having fun. I'm not as up to date on all the quests as some people, but I have most of the login rewards, and I'm getting the hang of things.
I still need to figure out how gardening works, because my Merry Meadow is an overgrown mess. It was desolate for the first month, then I gave a Nul a water sprinkler hat, now it's completely full of random flowers I don't know what to do with.
I recently unlocked the Twin Stars area, cloud island. That's coming along. I still haven't unlocked the moon or the city, but the city might not be in my version of the game yet. I've gotten 3 friends maxed out so far, Tuxedo Sam, Chococat, and Keroppi. I've got all the older characters in their teens and all the newer characters in the single digits. I'm making more of an effort now, at least.
I'm enjoying the holiday events, I guess. I realized recently I'm not actually completing birthday events correctly. Shit, oh well. But I have tons of dressups and tons of furniture. None of it is the furniture I need though... Maybe looking for all my missing treasure chests will help.
A few days ago, they announced HKIA's first paid DLC, Wheatflour Wonderland. It's only gonna be 15$, but it includes new characters, a new zone, and I think farming. It's a little disappointing that they're asking for more money already when we just bought the game 5 months ago, but 15$ is reasonable. I guess this is just my version of Disney Dreamlight Valley, I'm in it now.
